Award-winning writer and director Erica Rose and writer/actor Olivia Levine’s new short film called LET LIV starring Christine Taylor, Rosaline Elbay, as well as Olivia herself. The film will premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival 2023.
Erica Rose is an award-winning writer/director with a focus on queer and female-driven stories. She co-created, executive produced, and directed episodes for the ROKU ORIGINAL SERIES, THE LESBIAN BAR PROJECT which received a special Recognition Award at the GLAAD Media Awards. After screening in over 40 festivals internationally, her short film GIRL TALK premiered online and currently has over 36 million views. She also directed season 2 of the award-winning web series INTERESTED IN that premiered Fall 2022. She’s in development for various television and film projects, including the feature queer comedy TITTERS co-written by comedian Ali Clayton.
Olivia Levine is a queer actor, comedian and writer. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Barnard College, Columbia University. Olivia’s film credits include TALLULAH opposite Allison Janney and I HATE KIDS with Tituss Burgess and Tom Everett Scott. Olivia is currently developing LET LIV into a feature with director Erica Rose, and she has another feature in development with Proton Entertainment.
The must see live action short film, LET LIV is a real life tale of abandonment, addiction, pain, love, facing our faults, and discovering understanding that can lead to forgiveness. One of the best storylines that I’ve seen in the last couple of years when it comes to short films.
