Director/producer/writer and actress Theresa Godly was born in Kolkata, with Anglo-Indian and Nepalese heritage. Raised in South London and began acting at the age of five. After attending the hugely respected Sylvia Young Theatre School, she studied acting at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting.

Theresa has guest starred in Bridgerton, Eastenders, Avenue 5, Motherland, Law & Order, Outnumbered and Silk to name a few, and feature films Finding Fatimah and King of Crime as well as many independent short films, such as the BFI network film 'Torr', Directed by Kate Cox, that was in released in 2023.
