Writer John Julius Schwabach Explains the Script Process of the Oscar Nominated Short THE AFTER

John Julius Schwabach is a London-based screenwriter. He graduated from Warwick university with an English literature degree and studied history, English and Art at Winchester College.

His first short film is THE AFTER, made for Netflix, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival to rave reviews.

The short film went on to win the festival’s Best Live Action award, and is now Oscar Nominated.

THE AFTER is a gut-wrenching story about a man who grieves and who can’t seem to get over a tragic event that happened in his life.
