Writer/Producer/Actress Jenna St. John is a hopeless romantic, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She moved to the US at age 16 and was a ballet dancer until an injury led her to pursue writing.
Jenna has two written features in post production for Epic Pictures and is currently penning a feature with Hallmark.
Jenna is committed to telling female-led stories for a broad audience, and today if you have been hooked on the new hit streaming series, SEXPECTATIONS then you’re in for a hot treat. Jenna wrote the new hit series that is the talk of Hollywood.

Our guest today is Spirit Award nominated producer Natalie Metzger. She has had films premiered at top festivals around the world including Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, and Tribeca.
Her feature credits include WEREWOLVES WITHIN, THUNDER ROAD, GREENER GRASS, Sony Pictures Classics documentary IT AIN’T OVER, to name a few.
She is also known for producing numerous shorts, most notably POOF, DRESS A COW, and THE ROBBERY.
Natalie is currently the Vice President of Production & Development at Vanishing Angle.
But we are here today to talk about the award-winning short film, Shadow Brother Sunday, directed by Alden Ehrenreich and Executive Produced by Francis Ford Coppola, a story of Betrayal, Selfishness, Family, Facing the truth, and Jealousy.
Shadow Brother Sunday received the Special Jury Award for Excellence in Filmmaking from Salute Your Shorts Film Festival, this live action short film has qualified to be considered for a 2024 Academy Award.

Phil Dunn is a director, writer, poet and owner of Authentive, a production company based in Brixton, South London.
Through Authentive, he learned on the job, making hundreds of films for clients in the corporate, charity, fashion and music sectors.

JOSHUA IZENBERG is a documentary filmmaker based in the California Bay Area. His film, SLOMO (2013), won over a dozen awards, including best short documentary at SXSW, premiered as a New York Times Op-Doc, and was shortlisted for an Academy Award. His subsequent film, the Netflix Original, Resurface, won the Jury Prize at Tribeca and was nominated for an Emmy. He’s since co-directed the short documentaries Game Hawker (2022) for Patagonia Films and Eco-Hack!, which won audience awards at HotDocs and Palm Springs, and premiered with The New Yorker in July 2023.
BRETT MARTY cut his teeth as a commercial director and made the transition to filmmaking with a handful of documentary and narrative shorts, which have won their share of jury awards and played at 100+ film festivals, including Cannes, and were commissioned by The New Yorker, Patagonia Films, and National Geographic. He also studied sculpture at UC Berkeley, and even drove an old Buick from San Francisco to Argentina.
Both have co-directed the Oscar-qualifying short film documentary ECO-HACK! It follows biologist Tim Shields down an unconventional route to save the Desert Tortoise.
ECO-HACK! Received its Oscar-qualified status after winning Best Documentary Short at the Palm Springs International ShortFest and HotDocs International in Toronto.
TIM SHIELDS, the subject of the film has some four decades of experience out in the field as a biologist, logging some 25,000 miles on foot, surveying, and making critical observations. Those observations of the Mojave’s desert tortoise led to his founding of Hardshell Labs — and a slew of inventions, innovations, and techniques for protecting endangered species around the world.

After taking home the top prize and the prize for best screenplay at the 39th St Kilda Film Festival, PERSPECTIVES qualified to be considered for a 2024 Academy Award.

Writer, director and producer Zineb Oukach is a native of Casablanca, Morocco. She has always loved films and has been inspired by them from a very young age. She attended the Cours Florent, a theater school in Paris and has since curated quite the body of work as an actress including RENDITION by Gavin Hood and THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, as well as in the science fiction television series Alien Dawn, that aired on Nickelodeon.
We’re here today to discuss Zineb’s Live Action Short Film, INTERRUPTION, which is a deeply emotional film. This incredibly thought provoking film not only touches on abortion, but the double standards that are still present between males and females.

George Suegas is from Athens, Greece and moved to the UK to study at the London Film School, where he made 5 short films which competed in more than 50 festivals worldwide and won between them, 5 Grand Prixs and 4 Best Director awards.
George returned to Greece in 2002 after being headhunted to direct Close Your Eyes, a #1 rated prime-time hour-long weekly drama for Mega TV. The series went onto become one of the most popular series in the history of Greek TV winning multiple awards.
He is here today to talk about his Oscar-qualified short film, THE ONE NOTE MAN that he wrote and directed. The film stars actor Jason Watkins, with the voice of Ian McKellen and music by Oscar winning composer Stephen Warbeck.
The film recently won the Grand Prize and Best Live Action Short at the Rhode Island Short Film Festival.

Director and writer Sabina Vajraca was born in Bosnia, and immigrated to the US in 1994 as a war refugee.
Since then, she has accomplished a lot as a director/producer. Her critically acclaimed feature documentary BACK TO BOSNIA premiered at AFI Fest and screened at over 30 festivals worldwide winning Director’s Choice at the Crossroads Film Festival, and is featured in the top 100 of the greatest films directed by women by the BBC.
Sabina’s new short film, SEVAP/MITZVAH is a true story placed during WWII in Nazi-occupied Bosnia, a Muslim woman risks everything to save her Jewish friends. 50 years later the tables turned.
SEVAP/MITZVAH has qualified to be considered for a 2024 Academy Award and rightly so. One of the most beautiful true stories I’ve ever experienced watching.
